Contour Cutting for Porcelain, Crystallized Glass, and Ultra Compact Surfaces
Alpha® has crafted the Contour Blade for porcelain and ultra - compact surfaces. It's ideal for hand curve cutting tasks like sink cut - outs in 3cm materials. Traditional diamond stone blades won't work well on these hard, dense, and homogenous materials as they're prone to chipping and fractures. But the Alpha® Contour Blade cuts smoothly without chipping or damaging the material. For top - notch performance, pair it with the AWS - 125 Wet Stone Cutter. This combo ensures successful sink cut - outs without breaking the rim. While the blade can be used wet or dry, these materials need wet use.
- Designed Exclusively for Porcelain and Ultra Compact Surface Cutting

Using the Alpha Contour Blade is quite straightforward. First, if you're cutting porcelain or ultra - compact surfaces, make sure to use the blade with the AWS - 125 Wet Stone Cutter for the best results. You can also fit it on a CNC router with a cutting head. When doing hand curve cutting like sink cut - outs in 3cm materials, keep in mind that these materials require wet use of the blade, even though it can be used dry in other cases. As for safety, always wear appropriate protective gear. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, clean the blade thoroughly to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. And make sure to check the blade regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any chips or cracks, it's time to replace the blade to ensure continued safe and accurate cutting.
