First-Cut EXPERT Early Entry Blades

First-Cut EXPERT Early Entry Blades are a key part of the True Early Entry System. They're designed for cutting control and relief joints in green concrete. These blades offer very high quality and longer life cutting. They can be sold individually or packaged with a skid plate. The True Early Entry System includes two quality grades of First-Cut blades - Basic and Expert, a First-Cut saw with a skid plate guard system, and an optimal cutting time known as the Control Zone (2 hours after finishing and before final set). These blades can be used on First-Cut Saws and Competition-Style Saws. They come with a 1' arbor that has a drive-pin hole and a triangle knock out. There are different color-coded specifications for various aggregate hardness levels: 1000 PURPLE for very hard aggregate, 2000 GREEN for hard aggregate, 3000 RED for medium hard aggregate, 4000 ORANGE for medium aggregate, 5000 YELLOW for medium soft aggregate, and 6000 BLACK for soft aggregate.

To use the First-Cut EXPERT Early Entry Blades, first make sure you're working within the Control Zone, which is 2 hours after finishing the concrete and before its final set. You can use these blades on First-Cut Saws or Competition-Style Saws. When installing the blade, note that it comes with a 1' arbor having a drive - pin hole and a triangle knock out. Match the blade color to the type of aggregate you're cutting: 1000 PURPLE for very hard aggregate, 2000 GREEN for hard aggregate, etc. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, clean the blade to remove any concrete residue. Store the blade in a dry place to prevent rusting. And always handle the blade carefully as it's sharp. If you notice any signs of excessive wear, it might be time to replace the blade.
