The Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless 8 Ft. Concrete Vibrator is a game-changer. When you can't use a corded tool, this vibrator steps in, offering more run time and maximum vibrations per minute (VPM) to strengthen concrete. It's incredibly lightweight, weighing only 11.4 lbs. with the battery (sold separately unless you buy the kit). The Makita-built motor pumps out 12,500 VPM and can run up to 41 minutes under load with a fully-charged 18V LXT® 5.0Ah battery. The 8 Ft. shaft, 1” thick, does an excellent job of leveling and removing air bubbles in concrete. It's part of Makita's huge 18V Lithium-Ion system, the world's largest cordless tool system. Makita's batteries charge super fast, so they spend more time working and less on the charger. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ enhance tool performance and extend battery life by protecting against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. The tool can also use Makita 18V LXT® and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with Star Protection. Key features include high VPM for stronger concrete, a dual-directional switch for easy holding, long run time, a compact design, and protection against contamination. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty, but remember to use only genuine Makita batteries and chargers.

Using this Makita concrete vibrator is easy. First, make sure you have a fully-charged 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery. Insert the battery into the tool. You can hold the tool in either a horizontal or vertical position thanks to the dual - directional switch. Then, place the 8 - foot shaft with the 1 - inch vibrator head into the concrete. The high vibrations (12,500 VPM) will help level the concrete and remove air bubbles. For best results, move the vibrator around in the concrete evenly. When it comes to maintenance, always keep the switch and battery protected with the provided covers to prevent contamination. After each use, wipe down the tool to remove any concrete residue. Only use genuine Makita batteries and chargers to ensure the tool's performance and battery life. If you notice any overheating, overloading, or over - discharging, the Star Protection Computer Controls™ will kick in to protect the tool and battery. But if you encounter any issues, refer to the 3 - year limited warranty and contact Makita's customer service.
