Description

Premium Window and Door Sealant

All Weather Silicone is a top - notch, 100% silicone product. It offers watertight and flexible seals for various interior and exterior uses, even in areas facing UV rays and tough weather. This neutral - cure silicone has a low odor, strong sticking power, resists mold and mildew, and remains flexible under the most challenging conditions. It meets ASTM C920 standards (Type S, Grade NS, Use NT, G, A, O, Class 35) and can be used both inside and outside.

Typical Uses: It's perfect for sealing around windows, doors, siding, trim, and molding. You can also use it on vents, basements, attics, and around wires and pipes. It adheres well to vinyl, many plastics, metal, aluminum, glass, fiberglass, stucco, plaster, masonry, and both painted and unpainted wood.

Instructions: Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. For deep joints, use foam backer rods to save the product. Prime porous materials before using. Cut the cartridge tip without harming the threaded part. Screw on the nozzle and cut it at a 45° angle, making the opening a bit larger than the gap to be sealed. Apply with a standard caulking gun and shape it with the right tool. After use, clean tools with mineral spirits before the product dries.

Limitations: It may turn yellow in low - UV light. Don't use it in aquariums or on bitumen, asphalt, or tar surfaces. Painting isn't recommended. The sealant might tear if it moves before curing, so protect new joints for at least 3 hours. Don't apply it to frozen or frost - covered surfaces.

Storage: Keep it in a cool and dry place, at a temperature between 41°F (5°C) and 77°F (25°C). Use it within 12 months from the manufacturing date.

Guarantee: The manufacturer guarantees the product's performance for one year from the purchase date when used as directed. Call 1 (800) 587 - 9940 with your sales receipt and product container for a replacement or a refund. The manufacturer and reseller aren't responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

Using this All - Weather Silicone Sealant is easy. First, make sure the surfaces you want to seal are clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. If you're sealing deep joints, pop in some foam backer rods to avoid wasting the product. For porous materials, prime them before use. Cut the tip of the cartridge carefully without hurting the threaded part. Screw on the nozzle and cut it at a 45 - degree angle, a bit wider than the gap you're sealing. Then, use a standard caulking gun to apply the sealant and shape it with a proper tool. After you're done, clean your tools with mineral spirits before the sealant dries. Remember, it might turn yellow in low - UV light, so avoid using it in such areas. Also, don't use it in aquariums or on bitumen, asphalt, or tar surfaces. Painting isn't a good idea. Protect new joints for at least 3 hours as the sealant can tear if it moves before curing. And never apply it to frozen or frost - covered surfaces. Store the product in a cool and dry place, between 41°F (5°C) and 77°F (25°C), and use it within 12 months from the manufacturing date. If there are any issues within a year of purchase, call 1 (800) 587 - 9940 with your sales receipt and product container for a replacement or refund.
