Description

The Alpha Ecoguard Type D is a revolutionary dust - collection cover designed for drilling jobs. When using drills or hammer drills, it easily captures dust and debris, keeping it away from your face and off the floor. This handy device allows you to drill with both hands free as it collects the dust. Its transparent design lets you clearly see where you're drilling. Just press the cover against the surface and start drilling. After finishing, you can easily empty out the collected dust and debris, saving you the hassle of a messy cleanup. It's convenient, easy to use, and fits most popular drills and hammer drills, including Makita BHR202Z, Bosch RHH180, DeWalt DCH253, Milwaukee 2605 - 20, and Hilti TE4 - A18. There are different part numbers available: ECOGRDDL for long drill bits (≥ 6'), ECOGRDDS for short drill bits (≤ 6'), and 803172, a universal handle for hammer drills to be used with the Ecoguard Type D.

Using the Alpha Ecoguard Type D is a breeze. First, select the appropriate part according to your drill bit length. If you have a long drill bit (≥ 6'), choose the ECOGRDDL; for a short drill bit (≤ 6'), pick the ECOGRDDS. If you're using a hammer drill, you can attach the 803172 universal handle. Then, press the dust - collection cover against the surface where you're going to drill. This creates a seal that helps collect the dust and debris. Start drilling as you normally would, and you'll notice that the dust is being caught by the cover, leaving your hands free to control the drill. After you're done drilling, simply empty out the collected dust and debris. To keep it in good condition, clean the cover regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the transparent material. And always make sure it's dry before storing it to prevent mold growth.
