Cobble Prep is an eco - friendly product. It doesn't contain muriatic or phosphoric acid. Designed to clean unsealed paving stones and concrete, it prepares surfaces for sealing. This gallon - sized, highly concentrated blend effectively removes efflorescence (white lime residue) and surface stains from fertilizer, vegetation, and mortar. It's cost - effective, easy to rinse, and creates a uniform surface for sealer application. Safer than typical acids, it can be used for various tasks like rust stain removal, cleaning berry and vegetation stains, etching concrete, and removing stubborn stains from concrete, stone, and brick pavers.
Before using Cobble Prep, test a small, hidden area of your surface to check for color reaction. If there are individual stains, clean them first before cleaning the whole area for efflorescence. Start applying the solution from the lowest point of the surface. When cleaning for efflorescence, work on 200 - 250 square foot sections at a time. Make sure the cleaner covers all parts of the section and rinse it before it dries. After cleaning the entire area, it's recommended to do a complete pressure cleaning. Repeat the operation if needed. Always read the label carefully before using the product. Keep it in a cool, dry place for proper storage and maintenance.
