Weighing 425 lb, it has a removable weight of 47 lb at the front and 43 lb on the side, with the machine only weighing 335 lb. It operates at a speed of 10 - 45 ft/min and has RPMs of 3450/2875. Using the Commander walk - behind scraper is quite straightforward. First, make sure the machine is plugged into a proper 115 - volt, 60 - Hz power source. Before starting, check the removable weights to see if you need to adjust them according to the surface you're working on. Turn on the machine and start moving it at a speed between 10 - 45 ft/min. It will start removing the soft goods like glued - down floors or carpets. When you're done, fold the handle to reduce its size for storage. As for maintenance, keep the machine clean after each use. Check the motor and other parts regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you run into any issues, refer to the 6280 Service Manual. And remember, National Flooring Equipment has a one - year warranty, so if something goes wrong, you can get it fixed or replaced at a designated location.
