These OCM OSHA Rebar Caps are easy to use. First, always check them before each use. If a cap is damaged, don't use it and just throw it away. Also, look inside the cap to make sure there are no cracks or damaged fins, because that can affect how well it fits and how safe it is. When you're ready to install, simply place the cap firmly on the end of the rebar that's sticking out. Push it until the internal metal insert makes contact with the rebar. Then, make sure the cap is centered vertically so it fits tightly and straight. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place when not in use. And remember, always use the right cap for the rebar size - REBARCAP - 38OSHA for rebar sizes #3 - #8 and REBARCAP - 912OSHA for rebar sizes #9 - #12.
