Using these steel stakes is easy. For flatwork projects, simply drive the stake into the ground near where you want to secure the wood or metal form. When using them as surveying stakes or string line guides, place them at the appropriate points and make sure they're firmly in the ground. If you're attaching screed bar holder clamps, slide the clamps onto the stakes. As for the landscape timbers, drive the stakes through the timbers to hold them in place. Remember, these stakes work well in different soil types, but in very hard or rocky soil, you might need some extra force to drive them in. Always wear safety gloves when handling the stakes to avoid any cuts. To maintain these stakes, after use, wipe them down to remove any dirt or debris. If they start to rust, you can use a wire brush to remove the rust and then apply a thin layer of oil to prevent further rusting. Store them in a dry place to keep them in good condition.
