The T7 tile saw is the successor to the portable 710 series. It keeps the powerful and lightweight design of its predecessor and comes with several improvements.
Power is now delivered by a strong 1 HP brush motor through a gear system instead of a belt assembly. This boosts the saw's efficiency, and you can feel the increased torque when cutting. Also, the water delivery system and blade guard assembly have been redesigned to make the saw more user - friendly and versatile. All components are mounted on a reliable all - steel frame.

Using the T7 tile saw is easy. First, make sure it's plugged into a 115 - volt outlet. Check the water tray to ensure there's enough water as it helps keep the blade cool during cutting. Place your tile on the rubber mat, align it for the cut you need - either a rip cut or a diagonal cut. Remember, the maximum tile size for rip cut is 20 inches and 14 inches for diagonal cut. When you're ready, turn on the saw and start cutting. You'll notice the increased torque from the gear - driven system, which makes cutting smoother. As for maintenance, keep the saw clean after each use. Wipe down the frame and the blade guard. Periodically check the water delivery system to make sure it's working properly. And always be careful when handling the blade. When not in use, store the saw in a dry place.
