Core Bit Adapters

Core bit adapters are essential tools designed to adapt different size threads to various machines. Standard core drill adapters come with specific threaded hub sizes. For bit diameters 1 - 1/2' and under, they have a 5/8'-11 thread (with a 5/8' diameter and 11 threads per inch). For bit diameters 1 - 5/8' and up, the thread is 1 - 250'-7 (1 - 1/4' diameter, 7 threads per inch). The male bottom thread is a replaceable grade 8, 5/8'-11 bolt with a water way. These adapters are suitable for Weka motors. Using these core bit adapters is easy. First, check the thread size of your machine and the bit you want to use. Then, select the appropriate adapter from the options available. Make sure to firmly attach the adapter to both the machine and the bit. When using on a Weka motor, ensure the male bottom thread bolt is properly in place. For maintenance, after each use, clean the adapter to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. If the male bottom thread bolt gets worn out, replace it with a new grade 8, 5/8'-11 bolt. Always handle the adapters carefully to avoid damage to the threads.
