Using the CONTEC CT250 floor scarifier/planer is quite straightforward. First, decide whether you want to use the gas or electric model according to your needs. Make sure to connect or fuel it properly before starting.
When you start the machine, the large drum and cutters will start working on the surface. Move the machine steadily over the area you want to treat. Thanks to its 10 - inch working width, you can cover a large area in each pass.
If you've chosen the optional drive unit, it will make moving the CT250 much easier.
Here are some important notes. Always wear proper safety gear, like goggles and a dust mask, because even though it's a dust - free operation, some fine particles might still be present. Don't try to use it on surfaces that are too hard or uneven for its capacity.
For maintenance, regularly check the cutters and replace them when they're worn out. Keep the machine clean after each use. If it's the gas model, make sure to follow the fuel storage and handling guidelines. And for the electric model, check the power cords for any damage.
