Description

The M - 2 Heavy Duty Core Rig Core Bore Motor is a top - notch tool designed for large - scale jobs and professional drillers. It comes with a dual switch/outlet control panel featuring an amp meter (except for CB700 models with an LED amp meter). Its 2 - 7/8' precision - made, chrome - plated square column (mast) is built to last. A vacuum pump is included with the combination rig, enabling quick mounting on flat surfaces without the need to drill anchor holes. The combo base allows for a quick switch from a vacuum to an anchor base. With 6' wheels, it offers easy mobility. The base has 4 leveling screws for stability. The larger mast can withstand high torque and large - diameter bits. The 4 - spoke handle makes it easy for the operator to apply feed pressure. An optional roller carriage provides more precise drilling, and an autofeed option is also available. Here are some model details: CB744 (25 amp, 110 volt, Core Bore, 385/530/975/1340, available as a complete rig with add - on vacuum base and pump or as an anchor rig), DK22 and DK22S (23 amp, 110 volt, Weka, different speed options, available with or without vacuum pump and as anchor rigs), and CB733 (20 amp, Core Bore, 550/1000/1600, available as a complete rig with add - on vacuum base and pump or as an anchor rig).

Using the M - 2 Heavy Duty Core Rig Core Bore Motor is easy. First, decide whether you'll use the vacuum base or the anchor base depending on your work surface. If using the vacuum base, attach the vacuum pump and make sure it creates a strong seal on the flat surface. If using the anchor base, drill the necessary holes and secure the rig. Next, connect the power supply according to the model's amp and voltage requirements. You can use the dual switch/outlet control panel to operate the motor. The amp meter will help you monitor the power usage. When drilling, use the 4 - spoke handle to apply feed pressure. For more precise drilling, consider using the optional roller carriage. The autofeed option, if selected, can make the drilling process smoother. Here are some important notes. Always wear appropriate safety gear like goggles and gloves. Don't exceed the maximum torque and bit diameter the mast can handle. When not in use, store the rig in a dry place. Regularly check the components for any signs of wear and tear. Clean the rig after each use, especially the mast and the control panel. Lubricate moving parts as recommended to keep the rig in good working condition.
