Description
Features & Benefits: This heavy - duty core rig is perfect for large - scale jobs and professional drillers. It comes with a dual switch/outlet control panel that includes an amp meter (except CB700 models which have an LED amp meter). The 2 - 7/8' precision - made, chrome - plated square column (mast) is built to last. A vacuum pump is included with the combination rig, enabling quick mounting on flat surfaces without the need to drill anchor holes. The combo base allows for a fast switch from vacuum to anchor base. With 6' wheels, it offers easy mobility, and 4 leveling screws on the base ensure stability. The larger mast can withstand high torque and large - diameter bits. The 4 - spoke handle makes it easy for operators to apply feed pressure. There's an optional roller carriage for more precise drilling, and an autofeed option is also available. Specifications: CB744 - 25 amp, 110 volt, Core Bore, 385/530/975/1340, Complete rig with add - on vacuum base and vacuum pump (4245107, 81057); also available as an anchor rig (4245106, 81062). Using the Heavy - Duty M - 2 Core Rig is straightforward. First, decide whether you'll use the vacuum base or the anchor base depending on your work surface. If using the vacuum base, connect the vacuum pump and let it secure the rig to the flat surface. For the anchor base, drill the necessary holes and set it up. Next, turn on the power using the dual switch/outlet control panel. You can monitor the amps on the meter. Adjust the feed pressure with the 4 - spoke handle. If you've chosen the optional roller carriage or autofeed option, make sure they're properly set up before starting. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the chrome - plated mast for any signs of wear or damage. Keep the wheels clean and lubricated for smooth mobility. Also, check the leveling screws on the base to ensure they're in good condition. When not in use, store the rig in a dry place to prevent rust. Always follow the safety guidelines provided with the rig, and if you're unsure about any part of the operation, consult the manual.
