Directions
First, test in a small hidden area to see how easy it is to apply and the results you'll get. Let new grout installations cure for at least 72 hours before using. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of waxes and coatings. If the surface is very dirty, pre - clean with KlenzAll™. Mask off and protect nearby areas. When using different grits, rinse the surface well and use a new pad each time. Apply about 1/2 cup of honing powder and 1 cup of clean water to the stone. Refinish with a hand orbital sander or a weighted floor machine at 130 - 140 lbs., 175 rpm, with a natural hair pad. Keep the compound wet with water and add more powder as needed. Refinish until you get the right level of hone. Rinse well and remove the remaining compound with a wet vacuum or hot water extraction unit. Clean the equipment with water. Use higher grits to close the stone surface and follow with polishing and shining powders if needed.

When you're using different grits of the powder, rinse the surface well and use a new pad each time. Mix about 1/2 cup of the honing powder with 1 cup of clean water and spread it on the stone. You can use a hand orbital sander or a weighted floor machine (130 - 140 lbs., 175 rpm) with a natural hair pad to refinish the stone. Keep adding water to keep the compound wet and add more powder when it's needed. Keep working on the area until you get the finish you want. After that, rinse the stone well and use a wet vacuum or hot water extraction unit to get rid of all the remaining compound. Clean your equipment with water. Remember to use higher grits to close the stone surface, and you can follow up with polishing and shining powders if you want a really shiny look. Also, be aware that this item can't be shipped by air.
