Using this drill is easy. First, make sure you have a compatible 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery with a star symbol (sold separately). Insert the battery into the drill. Select the appropriate bit for your task and insert it into the 1/2' keyed chuck. Adjust the speed setting according to your needs. You can choose between 0 - 450 RPM or 0 - 1,400 RPM. When drilling, hold the drill firmly with the side handle attached to either side for better control. The built-in L.E.D. lights will help you see the work area clearly. After use, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Clean the drill regularly to remove dust and debris.
