JET® SSC Series Electric Hoists are a perfect blend of safety and durability, ideal for commercial and industrial use. All models come with a slip clutch overload protection, stopping the hoist from lifting loads beyond its rated capacity. They're available in single or three-phase options to fit your electrical setup. Single-phase models have thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while three-phase ones feature a reverse phase relay for protection against incorrect wiring. The industry-proven DC electro-magnetic brake holds the load even when power cuts out, enhancing safety. The maintenance-free gear train, with a sealed oil bath, ensures long-lasting performance. These hoists come in capacities from 1/2-Ton to 5-Ton, with standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet (custom lifts available). Features include a 24-volt push button controller with a cable strain relief system, all-steel construction, NEMA 4X compliant push button control pendants, a durable powder coat finish, Grade 80 Load Chain, limit switches for safety, a sealed gear train, and thermal overload protection.
Using your JET® SSC Series Electric Hoist is easy. First, make sure it's properly installed and the electrical connections are correct. Check the load capacity to ensure you're not exceeding the hoist's limits. Use the 24-volt push button controller to operate the hoist. Remember, the limit switches are there to prevent the load chain from over-traveling, so don't try to bypass them. When it comes to maintenance, you're in luck! The gear train has a sealed oil bath, so it's maintenance-free. However, you should still visually inspect the hoist regularly for any signs of wear or damage, especially the load chain. And because of the Prop 65 warning, be aware of the potential cancer and reproductive harm risks. Always follow safety protocols and if you're unsure about anything, consult the manufacturer.
