Description

Eterra's Earth Auger Bit is built to last and designed for all earth drilling situations. When dealing with tough conditions, add Tungsten Carbide Fishtail and Teeth for a longer lifespan and better biting performance. These bits are made from heavy - duty materials, from cast drive heads to thick - walled tubing and forged cutter holders. They work great in rocky earth and shale, as many users have reported. The bit attaches with a 2' hex drive and comes in 8 sizes from 4' to 36'. A 3' tube with a 3/8' wall and 1/4' flighting ensures durability and quick dirt - clearing without clogging. It uses a simple pin - on attachment for easy changes. The pilot bit starts the drilling, pulling the auger in, and the forged cutter teeth handle the rest. It can handle most materials except solid rock or concrete. The augers are made from 3' tubing with a 3/8' wall, have high - quality welds, and forged pilot and cutting teeth. Carbide options are available for extra - tough jobs. Features include 1/4' flighting, diameters of 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36”, a 2 Hex Multi Hole Size & Location drive hub, and a 48' length with a forged dirt - style pilot. Design specs include shock - lock drop - forged dirt teeth, a 3/8' tube wall thickness, and a forged dirt - style pilot.

Using the Eterra Earth Auger Bit is easy. First, make sure to choose the right size bit for your job from the 8 available sizes between 4' and 36'. Attach the bit to your auger drive using the simple pin - on attachment. When starting the drilling, the pilot bit will be the first to enter the ground, pulling the auger in. Then the forged cutter teeth will do the rest of the work. Be aware that this bit can handle most earth conditions but not solid rock or concrete. If you're working in tough conditions, it's a good idea to add the Tungsten Carbide Fishtail and Teeth. For maintenance, regularly check the welds, as they are high - quality but still need to be inspected for any signs of cracking or breaking. Also, make sure the flighting is clear of dirt after each use to keep it working efficiently. The forged pilot and cutting teeth are strong, but if you notice any significant wear, consider replacing them or using the carbide options for tougher jobs.
