Full Featured Pallet Trucks

An economical solution for a single person to move heavy pallet loads without a fork truck! The handle detaches during shipping. These pallet trucks feature two articulating steering wheels and two front load rollers. With an ergonomic design, they only need 75 pounds of pulling force when fully loaded. The steering wheels have bearing dust covers for longer service life. Nose wheels on the front edge of each fork help with smooth pallet entry and exit. Wheels are made of Poly-on-Steel unless otherwise specified. Reinforced triple-formed steel forks are twice as strong as standard single-formed forks. Standard fork width is 7', except for model PM10-2245 which has 8-1/4' wide forks. Internally mounted solid steel adjustable push rods are included. The spring-loaded handle automatically returns to the vertical position when not in use. The hydraulic pump design allows for easy seal replacement, and the chrome-plated piston ensures long seal life. Model PM10-2245 has tow loops for simple towing and is rated for 5T capacity. A 5T load can be manually pulled/pushed for short distances, but needs to be towed for longer ones. Model PM5-2748-FP raises and lowers using a foot pump mechanism. Using your pallet truck is straightforward. First, make sure the handle is in place. To move a pallet, insert the forks into the pallet and use the handle to pull or push. For longer distances with heavy loads, especially for model PM10-2245, use the tow loops to tow the truck. When using model PM5-2748-FP, you can raise and lower the pallet with the foot pump. Be aware that all measurements are approximate, so expect some minor variations. Always check the load capacity of your specific model before use. To keep your pallet truck in good condition, regularly check the steering wheels and their bearing dust covers. If you notice any issues with the hydraulic pump, the design allows for easy seal replacement. Also, keep an eye on the spring-loaded handle to ensure it returns to the vertical position properly.
