Using your MABasic 400 two - speed portable magnetic drill is easy. First, place the drill on the material you want to drill. Make sure the magnet is firmly attached. Then, select the appropriate speed for your task - you have two speeds to choose from, 430 or 760 RPM. Next, use the simple, one - handed controls to start the drill and begin making holes. The drill has a 3/4' direct arbor and can drill holes up to 1 - 5/8' in diameter. When using the drill, always keep safety in mind. The emergency - off function is there to protect you. If the magnet loses contact with the material, the drill motor will shut down automatically. Also, don't forget to use the internal lubrication system. There's an oil bottle included, and proper lubrication will keep the drill running smoothly. For maintenance, check the drill regularly for any signs of wear or damage. Keep it clean and store it in a dry place when not in use. Refer to the operating manual for more detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips.
