Battery Powered Screed Unit

Our latest power screed is driven by a lithium - battery hammer drill, perfect for jobs where gas emissions are prohibited. Multivibe has tested it with a DeWalt hammer drill (DCD996) in drill mode. A 20V battery can handle two loads of concrete and still have half of its life remaining. Each battery offers over an hour of continuous use. The screed features a rigid frame and wheel - barrel - type handles for full control. The tested drill has 3 speeds. Use speed 1 only to attach or remove from the screed. Use speed 2 most of the time, which can operate a Multivibe screed board up to 12’. Reserve speed 3 for very low - slump concrete when extra vibration is needed. It also comes with an Aluminum Pan Screed.

Using this lithium - battery - powered screed unit is easy. First, make sure your DeWalt hammer drill is charged. Attach the drill to the screed using speed 1 of the drill. For normal use, switch to speed 2, which will let you work with a screed board up to 12’ long. If you're dealing with very low - slump concrete, use speed 3 for extra vibration. After each use, detach the drill carefully using speed 1. Keep the screed clean by wiping it down after use. Store the battery in a cool, dry place to maintain its lifespan. Check the rigid frame and wheel - barrel - type handles regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
