The Cat 800 Expert General-Purpose Diamond Blade is engineered for cutting medium-hard general concrete. Cat® General-Purpose blades are made for intensive use across three performance grades: Good, Better, and Best. The Good grade is 10mm (600 Expert), the Better grade is 12mm (800 Expert), and the Best grade is 15mm (1000 Expert). Each product has a specifically designed segment shape and geometry that matches the diamond grit and bond formulation, enhancing cutting performance in terms of fluidity, smoothness, speed, and blade life. These blades can cut a wide range of applications and materials. As the performance rating goes up, the speed and blade life improve due to higher diamond quality, concentration, better bond formulation, and increased segment height. The blade features superior diamond quality and bond formulation, offering a very long life and fast cutting speed. It has a fully hardened and heat-treated steel core, vented cooling holes for rapid heat dispersion, and is double laser-welded for segment safety and stability. The unique turbo segment design enables aggressive cutting, and the V turbo design clears abrasive fines and reduces friction. The keyhole gullet design helps with dust extraction. Available in the USA, non-oSa accredited. It can be used on various materials, including heavily steel-reinforced concrete, critically hard aggregate concrete, and many others. The performance varies depending on the material, with some offering optimal performance and others having reduced performance.

Using the Cat 800 Expert Diamond Blade is straightforward. First, make sure your machine is compatible with the blade's specifications. You can find the details about the blade's diameter, segment height, width, and arbor bore in the product table. When starting to cut, apply a steady and even pressure. This will help the blade cut smoothly and extend its life. Be aware of the material you're cutting. For materials marked with four stars, the blade will give you the best performance in terms of speed and life. For materials with fewer stars, the performance might be reduced, but it can still get the job done. However, for materials with just one star, use the blade only occasionally as it may experience glazing and premature wear. After each use, clean the blade to remove any debris. You can use a brush to gently clean the segments and the core. Store the blade in a dry place to prevent rust. If you notice any damage to the blade, such as cracks or missing segments, stop using it immediately as it may be dangerous.
