Description

The Blue Diamond® Stump Grinder is a top - notch machine. It offers the highest torque in its class, comes in a compact size, can cut both in forward and reverse directions, and provides excellent visibility. Powered by an extremely durable piston motor and Greenteeth® setup, this heavy - duty stump grinder can handle the toughest jobs. Since a skid steer has limited ability to produce hydraulic HP, this attachment is designed to turn every bit of available power into great performance. It can cut while moving forward or backward and save RPMs in some cases, which means saving time and fuel. Spend less time on each stump and boost your profitability! Key features include a high - torque (97% efficient) radial piston motor, 3 low - flow and 3 high - flow models, no need for electricity, cutting below ground level, great visibility, and a compact design. It also requires a case drain line. Here are the specifications: there are different part numbers with corresponding flow ranges from 16 - 45 GPM, a PSI range of 3,000 – 4,061, wheel sizes of 24″ and 26″, number of teeth from 24 to 30, and weights from 640 lbs. to 720 lbs.

Using the Blue Diamond® Stump Grinder is easy. First, connect it properly to your skid steer. Make sure the case drain line is attached as required. Before starting, check the hydraulic flow and pressure to match the specifications of your chosen model. When operating, you can use it to cut stumps while moving forward or backward, which gives you more flexibility. Try to keep an eye on the RPMs; in some applications, it can run at a lower RPM to save fuel and time. When you're done, clean the grinder thoroughly to remove any wood chips or debris. Regularly check the teeth for wear and replace them if necessary. Also, inspect the piston motor and other components for any signs of damage or leaks. Keep the grinder in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and corrosion.
