Description
Our battery-powered trowel machine is perfect for epoxy-based coatings on floors with colored granules and natural stone floor coverings. It comes with a machine, handlebar, a 500 mm diameter trowel disc, 20 pre - mounted trowelling blades, a key for removing the trowel disc, 3 battery belts, and 2 battery chargers. We offer different blade options for various applications. The grey plastic blades are great for smoothing slurry floors after sand scattering. Compact steel blades work the same way but are faster, though they make more noise and may leave thin 'trowel - roses' on the finished floor. White flex blades are ideal when mixing sand and epoxy and applying the coating with a screedbox. They also work well in scatter - systems when paired with steel compact blades. STD - blades are used for the same sand - epoxy coating application with a screedbox. Stone Carpet Blades are designed for 'stonecarpet floors' with stones sized 2 - 3 mm, 3 - 4 mm, and 4 - 6 mm. Technical specs include a 0.2 kW motor, 24 V battery, 1 x 230 V/ 1 x 110 V battery charger, a speed range of 0 - 170/min, a 475 mm (19') work width, a weight of 14 kg (31 lbs.), and dimensions of 50x100x50 cm (19.7'x 40'x19.7').
Using this battery - powered trowel machine is easy. First, put on a battery belt and attach a charged battery to the machine. Then, choose the right blade for your floor type. For example, if you're working on a floor where you scatter sand into the slurry, you can use grey plastic or compact steel blades. If you're mixing sand and epoxy and applying with a screedbox, white flex or STD - blades are good choices. For stonecarpet floors, use the Stone Carpet Blades. When using the machine, hold the handlebar firmly and move it smoothly across the floor. Remember to keep an eye on the battery level. If it gets low, swap the battery with a charged one from the extra battery belts. After use, clean the trowel disc and blades with a suitable cleaner. Store the machine in a dry place and charge the batteries regularly to keep them in good condition. Also, be careful when using the compact steel blades as they can be noisy and may leave marks on the floor.
