The PL2250 Pipe Lift harnesses the force of gravity to enable its scissor - action mechanism. It securely clamps on PVC, iron, or concrete pipes. With a 2250 - pound capacity, it fits pipes with an outside diameter ranging from 12.75 inches to 17.40 inches. It can lift 12', 14', and 16' PVC, steel, ductile iron, and C900 PVC, or 12 - inch ID RCP (16' OD). Compared to sling and chain methods, this lift doubles production output. Its wide scissor - grip design ensures a secure lift even when the pipe isn't centered. One operator can easily grab, lift, and move pipes without assistance. The tongs are rubber - lined (unless otherwise requested) for a firm grip on smooth surfaces. PL1500 through PL3500 are 30' wide, while PL4500, PL7000, and PL8500 are 36' wide. Note that pipe outside diameter and weight determine the right lifter. This lift weighs 330 lbs and has dimensions of 42 × 42 × 42 in.

Using the PL2250 Pipe Lift is a breeze. Just set the lifter down over the pipe you want to move. The legs will automatically grab and hold the pipe tightly. Once the pipe is in the desired position, set it down firmly, and the lifter will release. Remember, this lifter is designed for pipes with an outside diameter between 12.75 inches and 17.40 inches and can handle up to 2250 pounds. Always check the pipe's weight and diameter before using to ensure it's within the lift's capacity. When not in use, store the lift in a dry place. Periodically inspect the rubber lining on the tongs. If it shows signs of wear, replace it to maintain a good grip on the pipes. Also, check the overall condition of the lift for any damage or loose parts.
