Using your PWBS - 14CS Bandsaw is easy. First, make sure it's plugged into the right voltage (it's pre - wired for 115V, but can also use 230V). Check the blade tension using the easy - to - read gauge. You can change the blade quickly with the Carter™ quick tension release lever. Before you start cutting, adjust the table tilt according to your needs, it can tilt 45 degrees to the right and 10 degrees to the left. Turn on the 60 - watt adjustable lamp (you'll need to get the bulb) to have good light on your workpiece. The chip blower will keep the cut line clear.
When it comes to maintenance, keep the blade clean. After each use, turn off the saw and let it cool down. Check the Poly - V belt regularly for any signs of wear. The dual ball bearing guides don't need much, but make sure they are in good condition. If you're not using the saw for a while, use the detension setting on the Carter™ lever to extend the blade life.
Safety first! Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Don't wear loose clothing that could get caught in the saw. Make sure the stand is on a flat, stable surface. And never touch the blade when the saw is running.
