Using the Makita 18V LXT® Cordless 5-3/8” Trim Circular Saw is easy. First, make sure you insert a fully charged Makita 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery into the tool. Hold the saw firmly by the rubberized soft grip handle. When you're ready to cut, press the trigger. The built-in dust blower will keep the cutting line clear of debris, and the L.E.D. light will illuminate the work area. You can make straight cuts or bevel cuts up to 50 degrees. Remember, this saw has an electric brake, so when you release the trigger, the blade will stop quickly. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the saw to remove any sawdust or debris. Check the blade regularly for wear and tear and replace it if necessary. Only use genuine Makita batteries and chargers to ensure the best performance and safety.
