JET® SSC Series Electric Hoists are available in single or three-phase configurations to meet your electrical needs. These hoists combine safety and durability, perfect for commercial and industrial use. All models have a slip clutch overload protection to prevent lifting loads above the rated capacity. Single-phase models feature thermal overload protection to avoid overheating, while three-phase models come with a reverse phase relay to protect against incorrect wiring. The industry-proven DC electro-magnetic brake holds the load even when power is off. The maintenance-free gear train with a sealed oil bath ensures reliability and durability. Available in 1/2 - Ton to 5 - Ton capacities with standard lifts of 10, 15, and 20 feet (custom lifts available), but not for outdoor or wet environments. Features include all-steel construction, NEMA 4X compliant push button control pendants, a durable powder coat finish, Grade 80 Load Chain, limit switches, overload protection, a push button controller with a cable strain relief system, and a reverse phase relay.

Using this electric chain hoist is straightforward. First, make sure the power supply matches the hoist's phase configuration. Connect the hoist properly and use the push button control pendant to operate it. When lifting, don't exceed the rated load capacity to avoid damage. Note that this hoist is not for outdoor use or wet environments. For maintenance, since it has a maintenance-free gear train with a sealed oil bath, you don't need to worry about regular lubrication. But do check the limit switches, overload protection, and the brake periodically to ensure they are working correctly. If there are any signs of wear or malfunction, stop using the hoist immediately and get it checked by a professional.
