Using the Aardwolf Slab Lifter 30 is easy. First, make sure your forklift is in good working condition. Position the lifter near the slab you want to lift. Adjust the grip range according to the thickness of the slab, which can be anywhere from 0 to 1.2 inches. Once the lifter is in place, a small movement of the slab will engage the clamps. Then, lift the slab carefully with the forklift.
When lowering the slab, the spring - loaded latch will automatically release the lifter once the slab touches the ground. This allows for a one - person operation.
**Note:** Always check the working load limit before lifting. The limit is 1200 kg (2646 lb) for this model. Don't exceed this limit to avoid accidents.
For maintenance, regularly inspect the clamps for any signs of wear or damage. Clean the lifter after each use to keep it in good shape. Lubricate the moving parts occasionally to ensure smooth operation. If you notice any problems, don't use the lifter until it's been repaired.
