Using the Alpha COTE-04 Pneumatic Extended Cut-Off Tool is straightforward. First, connect the tool to an air source using the 1/4' NPT air inlet and a 3/8' (10mm) ID hose. Make sure the air supply meets the 4 CFM (113L/min) requirement. Hold the tool with the built-in cushion grip for a comfortable and secure hold. You can adjust the safety guard to one of the 11 positions (126° adjustable range) by pushing the adjustment mechanism. Start the tool and let it reach the free speed of 14,000 RPM before making any cuts. When cutting, keep the tool steady and let the powerful 1.0 HP motor do the work. Always wear appropriate safety gear, like goggles and gloves. After use, turn off the air supply and disconnect the hose. Regularly clean the tool and check for any signs of wear or damage. If you need to replace the cutting disc, make sure to use a 4' (100mm) x 3/8' (10mm) disc with a maximum RPM of 14,000. Refer to the manual for detailed warranty information and any other specific instructions.
