Its superior zirconia alumina grain blend, free of iron, sulfur, and chlorine, along with a specially engineered coating, delivers industry-leading results when blending aluminum. The disc's long life is thanks to exclusive WALTER technologies. The MAX LIFE™ cold curing glue eliminates heat during manufacturing, giving you the freshest abrasives. The ECO-TRIM™ backing absorbs vibration and can be trimmed to extend the disc's life up to 3 times. With high removal rates and resistance to glazing, it's the best choice for enhancing quality and productivity when working with aluminum and other heat-sensitive metals. Features include a Fe-free formulation, vibration-free grinding, fresh abrasives, comfortable removal, no clogging or glazing, and a special coating to prevent load up. It can be used on materials like aluminum, stainless steel, and steel for applications such as weld blending, general grinding, polishing, deburring, cleaning, and finishing. Available in different diameters (4-1/2', 5', 6', 7') and grits (40, 60, 80).
Using Enduro-Flex Alu flap discs is easy. First, make sure you choose the right disc size and grit for your job. For heavy material removal, a lower grit like 40 might be best. For a smoother finish, go for a higher grit like 80. When using the disc, keep it at a proper angle to the workpiece to ensure efficient grinding. Also, don't apply too much pressure as it can cause the disc to wear out faster. As for safety, always wear protective gear like goggles and gloves. After use, clean the disc gently to remove any debris. If the disc starts to lose its cutting ability, you can try trimming the ECO-TRIM™ backing to extend its life. Store the discs in a dry place to keep them in good condition. Remember, these discs are great for aluminum and other heat-sensitive metals, so avoid using them on materials they're not designed for.
