Using the ETN 2001 P is straightforward. First, choose the appropriate speed according to your drilling task - 0 - 800 RPM or 0 - 1570 RPM. If you're doing wet drilling, connect the water supply to the water swivel collar and the water supply on the gearbox extension. You can use it handheld for holes up to 3' in diameter, or mount it on a rig for larger holes up to 4' in diameter. When drilling, make sure to keep the drill steady and let the bit do the work. For safety, the drill has a mechanical safety slip clutch and a thermal overload switch. If the drill overheats or experiences an overload, the thermal overload switch will cut off the power and the optical overload indication will show. After use, clean the drill and store it in the provided metal carrying case. Regularly check the oil level in the two - speed oil bath gearbox for optimal lubrication. Keep the drill in a dry place to prevent rust and damage.
