Metacaulk Firestop Joint Strip is a flexible material for concrete and masonry control floor and wall joints up to 2' (51 mm) wide. It forms a strong char to block flame, smoke, and hot gases between joints and can be used with plastic pipe penetrations. Ideal for stadiums, tilt - up panels, curtain walls, and all concrete and masonry construction joints needing fire - rated control. Works well with any UL - listed sealant. Features include easy installation, cost - effectiveness, versatility, flexibility, high intumescence, and can be covered with standard architectural caulk. It comes in dark gray, with a case weight of 12.50 lbs, case height of 7.25 inches, length of 10.00 inches, and width of 10.00 inches. It has a Clean Air Gold Certificate and FM Approvals 3971 and 4990. PDS and SDS are available in English and Spanish, along with a flyer.
