Using this heavy - duty construction adhesive is easy. First, make sure the surfaces you're working on are clean, dry, and structurally sound. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the size you need, and then puncture the inner seal with a nail or wire. For cabinets and counter tops, apply a 1/4 - inch bead to the contact areas on the back, then press firmly into place. Remember, when installing wall cabinets, you'll also need to use mechanical fasteners. When applying materials to furring strips or studs, put a zigzag 1/4 - inch bead on each strip or stud that the panel will cover. Position the panel so its edges meet at the stud center. Only severely warped materials need finishing nails at the top and bottom. As for maintenance, keep it in a cool, dry place. And always check the SDS sheet for safety information.
