The tool body ratchets as the internal cutter head rotates 360 degrees, making it ideal for confined areas. You can operate it with one hand or use a 1/4 - inch socket extension to easily cut through various mid - sized tubing materials. It cuts 1/2 - inch tubing, features a steel alloy - steel, heat - treated SXT™ cutter wheel. A replacement SXT Cutting Wheel (Part 42526) is available separately.

Using the 1/2 - inch Ratcheting QuickCut Tubing Cutter is easy. You can hold it with one hand to start the cutting process. If you need more power, attach a 1/4 - inch socket extension. When using it in tight spaces, the ratcheting body and 360 - degree rotating cutter head will make the job a breeze. Remember, this cutter is designed for mid - sized tubing, so don't try to use it on materials that are too large or too small. To keep it in good condition, after each use, clean the cutter wheel with a dry cloth. If the cutting performance decreases, you can replace the SXT cutter wheel (Part 42526) which is sold separately.
