Using the Alpha® COTR-03 Cut-Off Tool is straightforward. First, make sure you have a 3 hp or larger compressor as it may consume up to 4 CFM. Connect the tool to the compressor using the appropriate hose size (3/8" / 10mm). Adjust the wheel's direction using the collar to direct sparks and debris away from you. Hold the tool firmly and use the safety throttle lever to start the operation. Remember, you can't use it for flush cutting because of its direct drive design. After each use, add oil to the designated oil port at the end of the tool to lubricate the motor. This will keep the motor in good condition and extend the tool's lifespan. Also, keep the tool clean and store it in a dry place. There's no dust shroud available currently, so take extra care in dusty environments.
