This amazing product enables you to effortlessly transport and rotate 55-gallon steel drums with a forklift. Each standard unit comes with a 15-foot-long chain, allowing you to rotate the drum up to 360 degrees right from the forklift operator's seat. The fork pockets are 7-5/8 inches wide and 2-5/8 inches high, except for models DCR-205-8 and DCR-205-15, which have a 7-inch width. DC-powered units are equipped with two 12V batteries, an on-board charger, a battery charge indicator gauge, and a hand-held control on a 4 to 20-foot-long coil cord. A safety restraint secures the unit to the forklift. A Bung Nut Wrench (model BNW-I) is also included for opening and closing drums. All measurements are approximate, and slight variations may occur. Using this drum carrier and rotator is easy. First, make sure the unit is securely attached to the forklift using the safety restraint. Then, place the 55-gallon steel drum in the carrier. If it's a standard unit, use the 15-foot chain to rotate the drum as needed. For DC-powered units, turn on the power using the hand-held control. When opening or closing the drum, use the included Bung Nut Wrench. Always remember that all measurements are approximate, so be aware of possible slight variations. After use, store the unit in a dry place. For DC-powered units, keep the batteries charged using the on-board charger. Check the chain and other components regularly for any signs of wear and tear.
