M6 Series

The M6 Series pneumatic tools are excellent for quickly preparing large surface areas. They've been fully tested and shipped complete.

Before operating: Don't operate without reading these instructions. The air line needs automatic filtering and lubrication. Compressed air to the motor should be free of moisture and dirt to prevent damage. The equipment should handle at least 42 cu. ft. of air per minute at 90 lbs. air pressure. Connect using a minimum 3/8” inside diameter hose.

Operating instructions: Wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Grasp both handles, raise the front of the tool. Squeeze the trigger and let the cutters reach speed before applying to the surface. Guide the tool forward and backward with both hands. Let the tool's weight do the work; don't apply pressure as it can damage the motor, gears, and cutter bundles.

Depth adjustment: When compensating for cutter wear, loosen SCREW (7M), move DEPTH SHOE (6M) up or down, then tighten SCREW (7M).

Cutter bundle replacement: Install COTTER PIN & WASHER (28M) on both ends of SPINDLE. Slide the old cutter bundle and felt off, then slide on new ones with cutter tips pointing in the rotation direction. Install COTTER PINS & WASHER again.

Using the M6 Series pneumatic tools is easy. First, before you start, make sure the air line has automatic filtering and lubrication, and the compressed air is clean. Connect it with a proper hose. When operating, wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Hold the tool right, start the cutters, and then use it on the surface. Move it forward and backward gently. Don't push too hard. If you need to adjust the depth because the cutters are worn, just follow the steps: loosen the screw, move the depth shoe, and then tighten the screw. When it's time to replace the cutter bundle, install the pins and washers, take off the old bundle, put on the new one, and install the pins and washers again. Keep these steps in mind for a smooth and safe operation.
