The 1000 lbs (AC) Manual Rotator/Power Tilter is a custom - built vacuum lifter. It offers powered 90° tilt and continuous 360° manual rotation, with rapid attach and release times. Ideal for production and fabrication facilities. The lifter comes with optional Telescoping Pad Arms, Vacuum Loss Warning Buzzer and Individual Pad Shutoffs. Standard pad spread is 29 - 1/4' x 59 - 1/4' [74 cm x 150 cm], with 8 vacuum pads of 9' [23 cm] diameter. It can handle a maximum load of 1000 lbs [455 kg] and weighs 278 lbs [126 kg]. Operating on 120 volts AC, 60 hertz, 12 amps, it has an apply time of about 4 seconds and a release time of about 3 seconds. It allows manual 360° edgewise rotation with quarter - point locking and a 90° power tilt in about 9 seconds, with a tilt duty of 60 tilts per hour. Standard features include a green lift light, movable control pendant, vacuum gauge, vacuum reserve tank, vacuum line filter, spring - mounted vacuum pads, twist - lock electrical plug and blow - off for quick release.
Using this vacuum lifter is easy. First, make sure it's connected to a 120 - volt AC power supply. Position the lifter over the load and press the button on the movable control pendant to start the vacuum. In about 4 seconds, the lifter will attach to the load. You can then manually rotate the load 360° and lock it at each quarter - point. Use the power tilt function to tilt the load 90° in about 9 seconds. To release the load, press another button and it'll be released in about 3 seconds. When using the lifter, keep the ambient and load temperature between 32°F and 100°F. Check the vacuum gauge regularly to ensure proper suction. For maintenance, clean the vacuum line filter periodically and check the spring - mounted vacuum pads for wear. Make sure the twist - lock electrical plug is in good condition. If the Vacuum Loss Warning Buzzer goes off, stop using the lifter immediately and check for any leaks.
