Our adjustable height aluminum gantry cranes are a perfect blend of lightweight design and robust construction. The all - aluminum build makes them corrosion - resistant, ideal for outdoor use. The lightweight I - beam allows for easy height adjustment without the need for a hoist or fork truck. Two straps are included for convenient transport in one package. The 2,000 and 4,000 lb. capacity models come with four 8' glass - filled swivel casters with four - position locks for easy mobility, while the 6,000 lb. capacity units use phenolic casters. Height can be adjusted in 6' increments. Do not move loaded units unless you use the V - Groove Caster and Track Option. Hoist and trolley can be ordered separately. We offer multiple models with different specifications such as caster type, overall I - beam length/height, under I - beam usable height, base width, I - beam flange width, capacity, and weight. The usable distance between uprights is the overall I - beam length minus 18', and the usable trolley travel length is the overall I - beam length minus 23 - 3/4'.
Using these gantry cranes is easy. First, find a flat and stable surface to set up the crane. Then, adjust the height according to your needs in 6' increments. You can do this without a hoist or fork truck because of the lightweight I - beam. If you need to move the crane, use the included straps to transport it as one package. For the 2,000 and 4,000 lb. capacity models, you can use the four 8' glass - filled swivel casters with four - position locks. The 6,000 lb. capacity units have phenolic casters. When it comes to loading, never move the crane while it's loaded unless you've chosen the V - Groove Caster and Track Option. As for maintenance, regularly check the casters for wear and tear. Keep the aluminum structure clean to prevent corrosion, especially if it's used outdoors. If you need to lift heavy loads, you can order the hoist and trolley separately. Just make sure to follow the safety instructions that come with them.
