It comes with a high-torque 24VDC drive and lift motor, ready to handle heavy-duty tasks. The ergonomic handle has an easy-to-operate throttle for infinite adjustment of forward and reverse speeds, lift/lower controls, a unique safety-enhancing emergency reverse function, and a horn. There's also an electromagnetic disc brake with an automatic dead-man feature that activates when you release the handle. The powered lift has four 6V batteries (except S-CB-62 & S-CB-118, which use two 12V batteries), an integral battery charger, and a battery level gauge. It rolls smoothly on poly-on-steel steer and load wheels. With a 0.7 KW drive and 2.0 KW lift motor, it can operate for 3 - 4 hours at full charge and 8 hours when used intermittently. The adjustable forks fit different pallets. The individual forks are 3 feet wide on series S-CB and 4 feet on series S-2CB. Using Your Counter-Balanced Powered Drive Lift: First, make sure the batteries are charged. You can check the battery level gauge. Hold the ergonomic handle to operate the lift. When loading or unloading, position the lift carefully in front of the pallet. Adjust the forks to fit the pallet size. Notice that the forks' width varies by series. For series S-CB, they're 3 feet wide, and for series S-2CB, they're 4 feet wide. Safety First: Always be aware of the emergency reverse function. If you encounter a dangerous situation, press the emergency reverse belly switch. It will move the lift forward away from you.
