The DS160S Core Rig Setup is a lightweight, hand - held core drill paired with a stand. The drill stand, made of lightweight aluminum, has an anchor - or vacuum base. It weighs only 26.5 lbs (12 kg) and offers a travel length of 20 in. (490 mm), with a maximum diameter of 6 in. (162 mm). It features an angle drilling device up to 45°, bubble levels for precise setup, and can be operated by both left - and right - handed users. There are three motor options available: FB23P, FB20P, and FB33P. All motors operate at 110V, 20A, 50 - 60 Hz. The power (Input/Output) varies slightly among motors, with the highest at 2.7 kW (1.75 kW). RPM ranges also differ, with the most variable being 450/1200/2500 min - 1. The drilling diameter is 7/8 in. (20 mm) - 4 in. (110 mm) when handheld and 7/8 in. (20 mm) - 8 in. (200 mm) on the stand. The drill bit connection is 1є in. UNC, and it comes with PRCD safety. Using the DS160S Core Rig Setup is straightforward. First, decide on the motor option that suits your needs. Connect the drill to a power source with the correct voltage of 110V, 20A, 50 - 60 Hz. If using the stand, set it up on a flat surface and use the bubble levels to ensure it's perfectly aligned. You can choose between the anchor - or vacuum base according to your working environment. When drilling, start with a lower RPM and gradually increase as needed. For handheld drilling, the diameter range is 7/8 in. (20 mm) - 4 in. (110 mm), and on the stand, it's 7/8 in. (20 mm) - 8 in.
