Description
The FS351 propane self-propelled scarifier/shaver with DCS is similar to our standard FS351 propane unit but comes with the popular Depth-Control System. It has an all-steel chassis, lockable depth-control settings, and is adaptable for diamond shaving, rotoplaning, or carbide scarifying. With a vacuum pickup location to contain debris, it features lower vibration, extended bearing life, a new lifting carriage with a height-adjustment lever, and fewer moving parts. Ideal for diamond grinding, leveling concrete floors, cleaning surface marks, grooving trench control joints, removing concrete curls, and asphalt high spots, it's a top choice for concrete and asphalt professionals both indoors and outdoors. Standard features include electric start, variable depth adjustment, engage cam lever, vacuum port, remote power shutoff, ergonomic vibration-dampening handlebar, side-loading drums, sealed bearings, and self-propulsion. Power options are available, such as the 25 HP Kohler propane engine, 38 HP Kohler gasoline engine, and different US Motors electric motors. It can handle up to 15' wide areas, with a 3/8' depth per pass and a removal rate of up to 1000 SF/hour. There are various cutter choices like carbide scrapers, milling cutters, and more. Options include a water kit, height-control wheels, line pointer, and transport wheel. It weighs 695 lbs (315.25 kg) and measures 48 x 26 x 44 in. Manuals like the operation, repair, and parts manuals are also provided.
Using the FS351 Propane Self-Propelled Floor Scarifier and Shaver is easy. First, choose the right power option according to your needs. Then, select the appropriate cutter for the job, whether it's for diamond grinding or removing concrete curls. Adjust the depth using the variable depth adjustment feature, and you can lock the settings for consistent results. When starting the machine, use the electric start function. As it operates, the self-propelled feature will move it forward, and the vacuum port helps keep the area clean. Be sure to use the ergonomic handlebar to reduce vibration. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the sealed bearings and the condition of the cutters. Keep the machine clean after each use, and follow the instructions in the operation, repair, and parts manuals for more detailed maintenance steps. Also, make sure to follow all safety guidelines during use.
