Omega Q-Jig with Diamond Design
The Q-Jig Stone Square is like a specialized speed square for granite countertop work. It's great for creating perfect inside mitered corner seams, also called quirk miters, keystone cuts, or mitered joints. But this simple tool has many other uses too.
This amazing tool can cut down your fabrication time, especially when working with prefabricated countertops having a standard 4cm (1½ inch) full bullnose edge, if you use it to its fullest.
We designed this tool to set the miter angle right where the bullnose meets the top flat part. This saves time and stone while giving a clean look. You save time as you don't need to grind or cut as much, and save stone as you're only removing the bullnose curvature, not extra slab material.
Maximize Its Use
Besides marking perfect square inside corner miter seams, the Q-Jig Stone Square can handle many common tasks:
- Mark inside and outside corner radii
- Mark long 45° cuts
- Mark quick sink layouts and offsets
- You'll discover many more uses as you use it!
How to use: First, for making inside mitered corner seams, place the Q-Jig Stone Square on the granite as per the required angle. When using it for tasks like marking corner radii, long 45° cuts, or sink layouts, just align it properly on the surface. Make sure to hold it firmly to get accurate markings. Notice: Don't use excessive force while using the tool as it may cause inaccurate markings. When handling it, be careful not to drop it on hard surfaces to avoid damage. Maintenance advice: After each use, wipe the tool clean with a dry cloth to remove any dust or debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust and keep it in good condition for long - term use.
