Using these chalk snap lines is easy. First, open the large gasket - sealed refill port and fill it with chalk powder. Then, extend the 1.0 mm extra bold braided line to the desired length. Hold one end firmly at the starting point and the other at the end point. Snap the line to create a clear Ultra - Thin 0.02 in (0.5 mm) line on the surface. When you're done, use the smooth - running five - gear winding mechanism to wind the line back into the heavy - duty aluminum case. Remember to keep the case dry and clean. If the line gets dirty, you can gently clean it with a soft cloth. Don't expose the line to sharp objects to avoid cutting it.
