Using this tape measure is easy. Just pull out the tape to measure the length you need. The magnetic clip can be used to attach the tape measure to metal objects for hands - free operation. When using, make sure the TAJIMA Safety Holder™ is properly attached to prevent the tape from accidentally retracting quickly. Avoid dropping the tape measure from a height as it may damage the thick elastomer case armor. To maintain it, keep the tape clean by wiping it with a dry cloth after use. If the tape gets dirty, you can use a mild soap solution to clean it gently and then dry it thoroughly. Store the tape measure in a dry place to prevent rusting of the extra - thick steel tape.
