P - AU100 is a top - notch two - component aliphatic polyester polyurethane finish coat. It offers excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and stains, and remains stable under UV light. Available in clear gloss and clear satin, and can be pigmented. It meets VOC standards across all North American states and provinces. Once cured, it forms a tough, inert finish that resists impact, abrasion, and chemicals, and is also resistant to Skydrol, betadine, and hot - tire stains. It adheres well to PurEpoxy’s epoxy system. When applying to properly prepared concrete and cementitious overlays, a primer (Polyurethane - Acrylic Primer and Concrete Sealer) is required. Ideal as an upgraded finish for PurEpoxy products in various high - traffic and chemical - exposed facilities like aircraft hangars, industrial kitchens, automotive showrooms, commercial laboratories, hospitals, and wine processing plants. Packaging is 1 US gal (4 L), with a coverage rate of 800 ft2/gallon, a recommended thickness of 3.2 wet mils (81 microns), a mix ratio (by volume) of A: B = 4: 1 + 1lb Aluminum Oxide. Density is 1.14 kg/L for Part A, 0.90 kg/L for Part B, and 1.09 kg/L when mixed. Pot life is 60 minutes at 77°F (25°C), working time is 30 minutes, and VOC is 75.4 g/L.
Using P - AU100 is straightforward. First, make sure to clean and prepare the surface well. If you're applying it to concrete or cementitious overlays, use the recommended primer. Mix Part A and Part B at a ratio of 4:1 and add 1lb of Aluminum Oxide. You have 60 minutes of pot life at 77°F (25°C), so work fast within the 30 - minute working time. Apply it evenly to achieve the recommended thickness of 3.2 wet mils (81 microns). Keep in mind, always follow safety measures during mixing and application.
