APF 20/50 Vibratory Plates

The APF 20/50 is the most powerful model in the APF series. It has a working width of 19.7 inches (500 mm) and a centrifugal force of 4497 lbf (18 kN). Its advanced exciter unit needs no maintenance and offers strong forward - moving power, which is great for working with tough materials and on steep slopes. Ammann plates are industry leaders in low hand - arm vibration (HAV) levels. These low levels ensure the machines will meet strict regulations for years. The machine is very versatile. You can quickly adjust it for paving stones with an optional Vulcolan mat that you can install without tools, and a sprinkling system allows you to work on asphalt.

Using the APF 20/50 vibratory plate is straightforward. First, make sure the machine is on a flat surface before starting it. If you're working with paving stones, install the optional Vulcolan mat. It doesn't require any tools, so it's easy to put on. For asphalt work, turn on the sprinkling system. When operating, guide the plate steadily across the area you want to compact. Be careful when working on steep grades to keep the machine stable. As for maintenance, since the exciter unit is maintenance - free, you don't have to worry about that part. But regularly check the overall condition of the machine, like the sprinkling system if you use it, to make sure everything is in good working order. Also, keep the machine clean after each use to extend its lifespan.
