Thermal-Grip® Insulation Pin

Using the Thermal - Grip® Insulation Pin is easy. First, make sure you have the right fastener tool, either the IP40D or IP50D. Then, select the appropriate anchor length from 1' to 6' according to your project requirements. If you're attaching insulation to concrete or CMU, simply insert the pin using the fastener tool. For 12 - 18 gauge steel studs, the process is similar. When using it with EPS, XPS, ISO, or mineral wool insulation, place the large 2.25' diameter washer head on the insulation and secure it in place. As for maintenance, keep the pins dry and free from rust. If they get dirty, you can clean them with a mild soap and water solution. Also, store them in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend their lifespan.
