Using the Multi - Step Reamer is quite straightforward. First, choose the appropriate size based on the diameter of the hole you need to enlarge. Insert the 3/8” shank of the reamer into the drill chuck. Make sure it's firmly in place so it won't slip during operation. When working on sheet metal or metal plates up to a combined thickness of 1/2”, start the drill and gently guide the reamer into the hole. The 1/2” step thickness allows for easy and consistent hole enlargement. For different materials like aluminum, stainless steel, or steel, the reamer works great, but you may need to adjust the drill speed according to the hardness of the material. As for maintenance, after each use, clean the reamer to remove any metal shavings. You can use a brush or a cloth. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, it might be time to replace the reamer.
